Our lobster dinner held Oct. 24th was extremely well attended and by all accounts enjoyed by all in attendance. Who knew islanders liked lobster so much :) We thank you for your support and we are looking forward to seeing you next month. In an effort to begin the long road to having parishioners participate in limited/safe social events, the Knights of Columbus will begin hosting monthly dinners in Stella Maris parish hall. A provincial Covid19 operational plan has been prepared and all Food Premises Guidelines will be strictly adhered to. Our first parish dinner was held September 26th and was well attended considering there was a 50 person limit in the dining area. A delicious roast beef dinner with potato's and carrots was served in addition to apple pie desert to 37 diners with the addition of 22 take out orders. We believe that things went very well and any learnings that were gained will be applied to our next dinner. Thank you to Paula who won the 50/50 and donated the proceeds of $81 back to the Knights of Columbus. We appreciate your generosity and support. Thanks also to the CWL for their help with the dinner and thank you to all who joined us. We look forward to seeing you next time. |
